Basic study of materiality and light. In this study, I wanted to go back to basics: light, shadows, and one material. I created a basic composition of geometric shapes and created two shaders using an image of concrete, making the nodes very simple and focusing on different types of light, varying sizes and proximity, some angles wider than others to achieve depth. I also focused on using the compositor to create a dramatic image with intense light and shadow while maintaining realism. I hope you like this scene; it is free for your use.
